On arriving in Zante I was feeling a little anxious about our Wedding as I really didn’t know what to expect. After meeting Frances, she really put our minds at ease. Everything was explained to us clearly and we were shown photographs of previous Weddings. We had a good feeling that Frances could make our special day.

Our Wedding day came and was so well organised. We were made to feel special. Our wedding took place at the Chapel at the Marelen Hotel in Kalamaki. For us this was the perfect venue. Our party consisted of 24 adults and 7 children, we had exclusive use of the reception area next to the pool which was perfect. I would really recommend this venue to anyone looking for a more private venue. From start to finish there were no problems everything ran smoothly. We were married on the 08/08/08 which we heard was a busy day for Weddings on the Island, however this was not evident to us as everything ran so smoothly.

After the ceremony we were taken down to the beach by horse and carriage, with people congratulating us as we passed. Which was a lovely touch. At the reception we had a Greek band and dancers followed by a DJ.

I can honestly say that it was one of the happiest days of our life. The weather was perfect, the venue was perfect and the Wedding planner Frances was wonderful in making our dream Wedding come together.
