It is difficult to put into words just how happy and grateful we are for the amazing service Frances offers. We got married with Tsilivi travel on the 21st of June 2004. We took the Cruise-liner package. Everything was perfect, from the ceremony in the beautiful gardens, horse and cart through Tsilivi, and an unforgettable reception on the boat. We are also overwhelmed by the quality of the flowers, food, delicious cake, and fantastic photographs.
The Clifftop weddings take place either in Bohalis or at Lofos Strani. Both areas are in between the main Town and Tsilivi. Bohali has a spectacular view of Zakynthos town and the harbor. This breathtaking area can be used in the beginning and during the end of the season when it is very quiet.
Alternatively, Lofos Strani has a panoramic view of the plateau with Tsilivi beach in the background. Surrounded in tall pine trees the shade is broken by that odd ray of light that shines through. The stone paved walkway leads uphill to the statue of Solomos. Here our leading poet wrote the national anthem. There are park benches for your guests to sit down if they wish. The peaceful atmosphere in so tranquil that the only things you hear are the chirping of the birds.
Your guests are transferred here a bit earlier by bus or taxi. While enjoying the view the wedding preparations are made. As their entrance song begins the bride makes her appearance as she walks towards the “man of her dreams”.
Most of the frills that enhance a wedding can be brought and set up in this location. You can still have your arch of flowers, horse and carriage, champagne tower and much more. After the ceremony your guests are again transferred to your chosen reception venue and the couple is taken to the beach for photos.
This venue caters for small groups and couples that would like a “low tone” wedding ceremony. Something simple and romantic is how many, that “tied the knot,” describe this place.
